Every Wood & Loom piece is individually made by skilled craftspeople. We do not rely on anonymous mass production or furniture designed to be replaced after a few years. From selecting the timber to preparing, assembling and finishing each piece, the process receives the time and attention it deserves.

We also take extra time to retain suitable workshop offcuts left from earlier work. Where their size, appearance and strength are right for a later piece, preparing them helps us use more of the solid timber already in the workshop and reduce avoidable waste.
Materials
Depending on the collection and request, we work with carefully selected solid timber and beautiful hardwoods such as walnut. Pine is currently the main material for many listed products, while walnut and maple can be discussed for custom work where the design, size and availability make sense.
