Handmade disclaimer

Our products are handmade from natural wood. Variations in grain, knots, cracks, texture and colour are normal and make each piece unique.

Colours may look different depending on lighting and screen settings. If you need a close match, request a sample before ordering.

Natural movement

Solid wood responds to humidity and temperature. Minor seasonal movement, small checks around knots and subtle changes in texture can occur. Keep furniture away from direct heat, standing water and extreme humidity, and use it indoors unless a product is expressly described as suitable for outdoor use.

Dimensions and handmade tolerances

Handmade dimensions may vary slightly from the listing. Contact us before ordering if a piece must fit within a very tight recess or around fixed services. Natural variation is distinct from a manufacturing defect and does not limit your statutory rights where goods fail to conform to the contract.

Concealed and non-display surfaces

Undersides, backs, interiors and other non-display faces may show stronger natural characteristics where the timber remains suitable for the construction and intended use. Suitable new solid timber offcuts left from earlier workshop work may also be prepared for later pieces. This practice does not limit your rights in relation to unsafe weakness, damage or goods that do not conform to the agreed description.

Installation and use

Wall shelves and tall or unstable furniture must be fixed using hardware suitable for the wall structure. Seek professional installation if you are unsure. Do not exceed reasonable loads or use indoor furniture in wet or outdoor environments.
